Introduction

Dakota County Technical College (DCTC ) endeavours to serve students within nearby communities and those coming from countries worldwide. The majority of students work toward degrees and diplomas in various programs to prepare them for employment. However, the college is also proud of its general education department, whose courses are part of the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum. As members of a student-centred organization, all employees, faculty members, and administrators are focused on continuously improving student learning within the college's mission. Along the way, Dakota County Technical College has become a leader in delivering sustainable technologies, service-learning opportunities, and community engagement into most programs' curricula.

Our mission is to provide education for employment, which means to provide collegiate-level education for employment that will empower individuals to enhance their opportunities for career advancement and success in a global economy.
