Colorado Community College System

Introduction

The Colorado Community College System (CCCS) is made up of 13 unique colleges with 40 locations across the state, educating over 125,000 students every year.

Our mission is to provide an accessible, responsive learning environment where our students can achieve their educational, professional, and personal goals in an atmosphere that embraces academic excellence, diversity, and innovation.

We do this by focusing on the whole student, forming lasting relationships, creating education opportunities without barriers, and always looking for ways to expand the range of available opportunities to our students.

We admit anyone who wants to attend college and re-imagine a more prosperous future. Our colleges are "student-ready" – providing support services and pathways for all types of learners to earn a credential, degree, or transfer to a four-year college.

The Community Colleges of Colorado award over 18,000 degrees and certificates each year across an incredible array of disciplines and top-growth career areas, from Arts to Sciences, Aerospace to Zoology. CCCS colleges offer Bachelor's degrees in a growing number of specific disciplines designed to enhance graduates' employment opportunities. Red Rocks Community College is the only community college in the United States to offer a master's degree in its Physician Assistant Program.
