We aim to offer a free education to anyone with access to the internet, while making a fair return for our investors and offering a creative, fair and rewarding work environment for our employees.
Who ALISON is aimed at
ALISON is for anyone interested in improving their personal circumstances. Our learners are from all walks of life, from all regions of the world and from a multitude of backgrounds. ALISON is also being used by different groups of people to overcome a barrier to education that traditional education has been unable to breach.
ALISON’s core purpose and focus is to provide free ONLINE LEARNING to the world. The strong relationships it has established with key partners, coupled with its shrewd use of resources, the web channel it makes use of and the 6 million strong customer relations it has managed to foster, means that it is able to support its business model, in the main, by advertising revenue. Consequently, unlike other ONLINE LEARNING providers, ALISON doesn’t insist that learners buy parchments. However, some learners like to purchase parchments as a record of their learning achievement, while others use them as part of their resume to prove to employers that they have the skills they claim. Where possible, ALISON endeavours to keep parchment prices low and runs regular promotions and offers to ensure that prices are kept to a minimum.
