Over the three-week period this imaginative and inspirational theatre summer school program will combine a series of skill-based master classes and ensemble workshops in which students will work as a team under the guidance of a professional director to create an exciting piece of divised theatre, to be performed in the final week.

Whether you are already working in the industry, studying acting in college, or still in high school, our four-week Summer Intensive Training programs are built to offer you the personalized training you need. Our courses in Acting for Film and Television or Musical Theatre Performance enable experienced performers to work on skill-building, and novice performers to sample the life of an actor living and working in New York City.

Coursework will be by seminars, practical workshops, engagement with on and off campus dance groups, conferences, and symposia. Our Foundation Musical Theatre course will teach you the core aspects of musical theatre, including dancing, singing and acting. This entry level programme is designed to bring you up to speed on all the competencies you need to move on to a degree level qualification in Musical Theatre either at the IAB or elsewhere.

Theatre endeavors to create with and for its students, a learning environment that is inclusive and representative of its community as a whole. We encourage students to develop their artistic expression and technical ability in preparation for their continuing education and future careers. Our hope is to challenge and channel students' talents into having an equitable, local, and global impact as artists, technicians, educators, audience members, and supporters of the arts. This program will provide training in basic technical theatre skills for career employment in production and performance within the Theatre Industry.

The Communication Arts major at Delaware County Community College blends the theoretical with the practical by providing students with a foundation in the study of human communication that prepares them to continue academic study in the field. The Theatre option is designed for students who wish to continue academic study in theatre, acting (for stage or film), directing, and/or technical theatre (lights, sound, set construction, etc.).

The Theater Arts major offers the fundamental study and understanding of the theater. This allows students to develop their practical skills and talents as well as their intellectual ability to think creatively and critically.

The 2025 edition of the Summer School Hues of Writing (HoW), organised by the Department of Philology, Literature and Linguistics of the University of Pisa within the frame of the Excellence Project CECIL, will be devoted to theatre writing in Italian.

The Graduate Certificate of Screen Arts and Production: Drama is a chance to attain a short and targeted post-graduate qualification for students wishing to deepen, enhance or reframe their skills as a drama practitioner in the screen industries. In this three-subject course, students complete one core subject focused on scripted screen storytelling and complement it with two out of six production focused electives to round out your experience. The Graduate Certificate in Screen Arts and Production: Drama is a stand-alone course that can be taken full-time or part-time. It is also a pathway into the Master of Screen Arts and Production, should students wish to keep studying.

The Associate of Arts in Theatre Arts offers a variety of programs of study and experience suited to the needs of serious theatre students as well as those who wish to include theatre as a part of their liberal arts education. With curricula in Acting, Design/Lighting, Costuming, and Technical Production, the program provides an intensive two-year course of study that prepares Theatre Arts majors for transfer to a four-year college or university ready to do advanced upper-division work. Students have the opportunity of working in all phases of production and performance and are encouraged to take on increasing levels of responsibility as stage managers or directors.

Our Level 3 Diploma in Performing and Production Arts (acting) is an internationally recognitions qualification through the University of The Arts London and is included in the UCAS tariff and attracts tariff points for each final grade, which supports University applications. This highly practical course is centred around performance projects aimed at nurturing and enhancing your performance skills.  Students in this course will collaborate with other students across Performing Arts Studio Scotland.

The Prague Film School Acting for Film Program offers an intensive, conservatory-style curriculum instructing both the art and the craft of acting for the camera. While the vast majority of acting courses worldwide train students for theater, it’s screen acting that offers the bulk of career opportunities. It’s also screen acting that allows actors to engage with the largest audiences, across time and geography.

In this summer workshop, students produce several short films together under guidance from industry professionals in Cinematography, Directing Editing, Production, Editing and Sound during four intensive summer weeks in Stockholm. Through practical workshops inspiring seminars and lectures, you will receive the foundations of the filmmaking experience. The first two weeks are focused on short workshops within all disciplines while each student writes scripts, the third week is shooting week, and the final week is postproduction and screening of the film in our cinema.
