The Summer School August comprises subject courses, a German language course (A0-A2), and an intercultural workshop. The courses and excursions are compulsory for all participants within the Summer School. Students can choose in the application form between subject courses of Track (A) and Track (B).

The Freie Universität Berlin International Summer and Winter University (FUBiS) is an intensive, academic program through which students can earn credits that may be counted towards their degrees at their home institutions. FUBiS sessions run for three to six weeks and take place both in summer and winter.

Bauhaus Summer School is the international summer programme of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar.
