Introduction
It’s an undeniable fact that more and more parents are opting to join their children on English Language trips to Malta and Gozo. Precisely for this reason, Gateway School of English, itself a family-run establishment, offers a course of study that allows parents to bring their young children along with them to learn English, using facilities on the premises that ensure a flexible and enjoyable stay.
Mindful of the specific requirements of an individual family or of a parent & child core, we offer various attractive possibilities.
Private tuition for juniors and group courses for parents, or else, leisure activities for children while parents follow an English course, are a few examples of what GSE has available. We also can also organize daycare nursery services for very young children while parents are attending lessons.
Moreover, we even offer half board accommodation (breakfast & lunch) in our school residence (located right next to the school) for children under 13 years of age, when these are accompanied by their parents.
As Gateway School and its Residence (only 3 minutes from the bedroom to the classroom!) are fully equipped with free Wi-Fi, families are able to stay in touch with business, friends, and relatives from the comfort of their own rooms. Our School is dedicated to a service of excellence because family values are at the heart of our mission statement.
Apart from the school residence we also offer homestay accommodation for families traveling with children within 5 to 10 minutes walking distance from school, self-catering apartments in the vicinity of the school as well as a choice of three, four and five-star hotel accommodation in St Julian’s & Sliema.
Young Learners tuition is available for children aged 4 to 12 years all the year round. We offer 20 or 30 lessons per week.
Parents pay the standard adult tuition & accommodation rates (see our prices section on this website) while children pay the Young Learner Tuition & Accommodation rates (see also our prices section on this website). Parents can also stay in our accommodation (school residence, homestay, self-catering apartments or hotel) without taking lessons.
For children 0 to 3 years: We offer childcare facilities in St Julian’s within 15 to 20 minutes’ walk from school (or 5 minutes by bus) at Euro 4.50 per hour or babysitting services at Euro 10 per hour.
For parents attending afternoon courses and who do not wish to enroll their children in afternoon lessons (Young Learner Group Course 30 lessons per week), we also offer ‘afternoon play class’ option Monday to Friday from 1 pm until 2:30 pm at Euro 20 per day.
Prices:
Parents pay the standard adult rate for courses and accommodation or accommodation only (without courses) if they wish to stay in the accommodation without taking lessons.
