The Bildungsurlaub is a programme in which German employees can take 5 additional days of paid vacation per year or 10 days in 2 years.
This programme recognized by the German government and is valid in 12 regions of Germany – Berlin, Brandenburg, Bremen, Hamburg, Hessen, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Niedersachsen, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Rheinland-Pfalz, Saarland, Sachsen-Anhalt, Schleswig-Holstein.
