Introduction
This programme focuses on the technical aspects of the Electronic-Commerce (E-commerce) field. The programme is at an introductory level to Electronic-Commerce aspects for the more experienced computer user. Given the explosive growth in Electronic-Commerce applications, and the total rearrangement this will have in the way future society operates, a need exists for computer specialists to gain a practical and theoretical foundation in the IT aspects of Electronic-Commerce.
This Skills Programme is part of a full qualification that is mapped to a cluster of unit standards taken from a programme that is accredited by MICT SETA, namely National Certificate in Information Technology: Systems Development SAQA ID 48872, NQF level 5, 131 credits.
