This Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching & Learning in Schools course is suitable for students aged 16+ who are currently working or volunteering in a school in the role of Teaching Assistant, Classroom Assistant or Learning Support Assistant.

It covers all aspects of specialist support including planning; delivering and reviewing assessment strategies to support learning alongside the teacher; bilingual support; special needs support; and personal development and reflective practice.

This course is a progression course for students who are already working in the fitness industry and/or have studied fitness instruction at level 2. This course is designed to provide students with the skills and advanced knowledge needed to work with a range of clientele that require instruction to meet a range of needs in different environments. If you have a passion for physical activity, exercise have studied at level 2 in fitness industry courses, and you enjoy interacting with people with a range of needs then this course is for you. This course will provide you with the knowledge, understanding and skills to work unsupervised as a personal trainer in the sport and leisure industry.

Classroom sessions are assessed using discussions, questioning, and tasks to complete a portfolio. Work placement is prepared for during classroom activities and assessed by observation by an assigned College Assessor.

The Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training is a teaching qualification which has a teaching/training practice requirement. It is an ‘in service’ qualification designed for those working or wishing to work as teachers/trainers in England. It may be possible for pre-service teachers/trainers (defined as those who are not formally contracted as teachers/trainers) to also complete this qualification. All candidates, whether pre-service or in-service must have access to 100 hours of teaching.

The Master Diploma course is a 300-hour online TEFL TESOL course which will provide you with a thorough overview of the many facets and niches of English language teaching.

Students who complete this course successfully will receive a Diploma in Higher Education from Durham University. The agreement between Bristol Baptist College and Durham University is reviewed every five years and began in September 2014.

Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training is suitable for those who are practising within the sector, or who have a significant amount of knowledge and understanding and who now wish to consolidate that experience with a formal qualification. The course is a 120 credits qualification, accredited by the Ofqual awarding organisation, Learning Resource Network.
