The Higher Diploma in Software Development is a fulltime conversion program for non-ICT graduates wishing to enter the IT sector. The course will provide participants with fundamental theoretical and practical skills, abilities and knowledge to gain a comprehensive intermediate understanding of software development. Program delivery is Monday-Friday, similar to any fulltime on-campus UL program. The program has been designed in consultation with a number of national and international IT businesses and enterprises that are based in Ireland to ensure that it meets the skills needs of industry. The course content will address the skills shortages for ICT by developing learners’ knowledge and skills, in programming, web-based application, databases and software quality and software test as well as giving students a work placement. The Higher Diploma in Data Analytics and Software Development course is a fulltime program for graduates of engineering or related technology disciplines, that will provide learners with fundamental theoretical and practical skills, abilities and knowledge to gain a comprehensive understanding of data analytics and software development closely aligned to current employer needs.

RGIT Australia’s Diploma of Software Development (ICT50718) provides students with skills and knowledge around programming and software development. The qualification facilitates careers in bespoke software product creation, and in the customisation of existing software products to answer evolving customer requirements. It covers all necessary aspects including programming, graphical user interfaces, object-oriented programming, database programming, database design and systems analysis.

Software Engineering (Software Testing) is designed to develop the software development process's competencies that involve the synchronized application of a broad spectrum of defect prevention and detection strategies to reduce software development risks, time, and costs.

The Mobile Application Developer is responsible for creating programs used on mobile devices such as smartphones.
