As an early childhood educator, you will support children as they learn through play. Your role will be to create a developmentally appropriate curriculum and design inviting and effective quality learning environments. You will learn how to develop holistic programs that include early literacy and language, creative arts, numeracy, and open-ended play experiences both indoors and outdoors. The Accounting diploma program delivers a concentrated study of accounting subjects to prepare graduates for a variety of entry-level accounting clerk positions. The Executive Assistant program will expand your skills and hone your abilities in an environment that incorporates a hands-on approach while learning to work effectively with others. Executive assistants work closely with senior administrators in a wide variety of industries. Executive assistants learn Microsoft Office 2016, administrative procedures, basic accounting, and Adobe Photoshop and Acrobat. Students learn event planning by organizing the Annual SBC Business Show.

The Accounting/Bookkeeping course is designed to provide valuable knowledge and experience in keeping a set of books for a small business or large corporation. Students will learn the mechanics of recording transactions on a daily basis using different journals; preparing financial statements/reports, bank reconciliation, petty cash, and payroll. Students will also learn how to analyze financial activities to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company’s books.
