Advanced VFX (Virtual Production) is a full-time, two-year Centre for Entertainment Arts (CEA) program focused on the fundamentals of Visual Effects and the integration of Virtual Production workflows and pipelines. Students will study numerous specializations in VFX, such as modeling, sculpting, texturing/surfacing, lighting, compositing, and FX.

Advanced 3D Animation & 3D Modelling is a full-time, two-year Centre for Entertainment Arts (CEA) program focused on 3D Animation and 3D Modelling and its various departmental specializations, such as 3D animation (character and creature), rigging, 3D modelling & sculpting, and texturing/surfacing.

LIT students gain proficiency in every area of library operations, from database searching, library network technology, cataloging and classification to public relations, web design and records management. The two-year LIT diploma is offered at SAIT as a day-time diploma program. Students can also begin this diploma by completing Continuing education courses.

Our 2200 Hour Massage Therapy Program has been approved and recognized by Natural Health Practitioners of Canada (NHPC) and is under the Private Vocational Training Act of Alberta. It is a two-year full-time program.

The Welding Engineering Technology program offers full- time, two years of hands-on education. The first year focuses on academic fundamentals and structural steel design and fabrication. During the second year, you will learn pressure vessel design, construction, and testing. You will design, build and test a pressure vessel as part of your final project.
