The Summer Course in Introduction to Styling and Decoration is a program in English where you will learn how to develop a decoration project, from the idea to its execution. Over the course of two weeks, you will explore the fundamentals of the discipline and gain knowledge about styles, trends, space planning, colour theory or lighting.

Interior Design and Decoration is one of the Summer Junior Courses of IED Madrid's Junior Academy. Summer Juniors are courses in design, fashion and visual communication designed specifically for young people between the ages of 14 and 18.

Courses in the Interior Design program are taught one at a time, so students immerse themselves in each subject for maximum learning effectiveness. The mission of the Visual Arts Program is to provide the fundamental knowledge essential to art majors planning careers in a wide range of visual art disciplines. The program has a large number of approved support electives, making it very diverse and flexible, and allowing students to design an art program that fits their personal educational goals. Students who earn an associate degree in Visual Arts are prepared to continue studying at a four-year institution.

This one-year course will provide you with all the foundation skills needed for a career in painting and decorating. You will learn about measuring and quantities, communications, building methods and construction technology, how to prepare surfaces, application of paint, decorative finishes and using spray equipment.
