Academic Courses Programs in Lithuania 2025

For students needing to advance their English language skills, SMK offers English Foundation. The duration of the program is one or, if needed, two semesters. After completing the program you will bring your language level to the upper intermediate level which is required to study at SMK. The program is available every semester starting Fall and Spring and is delivered full-time.

Fellowship programmes offered by Lithuanian University of Health Sciences are postgraduate medical practice courses (usually one year) aimed for students with a bachelor or master degree in biomedical sciences, who seek to improve their skills in a particular specialization with the opportunity to continue their practice in the residency programme.

The objective of the Applied Informatics and Programming study program – to prepare highly qualified specialists of Informatics study field, focused on the areas of software development or computer network administration, who are able to adapt to changes in the contemporary market and are aware of the importance of self-directed learning (self-study) and life-long learning.

The objective of the Smart management study program – study program designed to prepare qualified professional bachelor of business management professionals who are able to adapt to the changing business environment, today's labor market requirements, understanding the challenges of the Internet and global communications development in today's society, their impact on management environments and management processes, able to apply professional thinking and integrated scientific knowledge transforming business management, responding adequately to these challenges, adopting innovative solutions that enhance competitive advantage and enterprise value, effectively manage business processes with optimal smart performance management models, smart Internet technologies and new global communications capabilities, and develop and successfully develop new smart organizations.

The Tourism and Entertainment Business Industry study program aims to train qualified professionals capable of researching, analyzing the tourism and entertainment business environment and adapting to the changing business environment, modern labor market requirements, establishing and managing tourism, entertainment, and wellness services companies, making innovative decisions, increasing competitive advantage, and developing and organizing targeted service packages. The study program focuses not only on the development of professional special competencies but also on the broad development of key competencies, values, responding to the current tourism and entertainment sector specialist, managerial competencies, based on knowledge transfer and analysis, critical assessment, problem-solving, the application of innovative measures.
