This program will prepare students for a career in programming for the Internet and the World Wide Web. They will learn client-side and server-side web programming technologies, understand Internet communications and protocols and related technologies and learn the latest versions of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, and Databases in order to integrate them to create dynamic interactive web pages.

The A.S. Degree in Artificial Intelligence for Business is designed for returning CIS, business, marketing, and data analytics professionals with industry experience or students who have completed CIS courses. The degree offers a balanced set of classes that provides students with the knowledge and skills to obtain jobs in the areas of data science, data analysis, data mining, text mining, business intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and artificial intelligence research. Students will learn how to make business decisions using different machine learning algorithms and deep learning prediction models of different complexities. Students will learn how to use natural language processing to better understand customer intent through sentiment analysis and gather market intelligence.

This program will provide students with a strong foundation needed in Cyber Defense. The program will focus on established methodologies in cyber defense. It will provide students with applicable skills in Windows and Linux operating systems security and administration, secure network design and implementation, web security, ethical hacking, digital forensics, risk assessment, management and mitigation techniques, and security policy/standards used to appropriately defend the various domains of information security to control access and reduce organizational risk.

The Computer Science program is a two-year preparatory curriculum for students who plan to continue their education at a four-year institution and complete their major in the computer science field. This curriculum is fully compliant with Pennsylvania Statewide Program-to-Program Articulation Agreement (TAOC) as stated by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

The Associate of Science in Computer Engineering is designed for students who plan to transfer to a Bachelor of Science degree program at a four-year college or university. Entry into many engineering programs is competitive, and students are urged to work closely with TCC advisors and university advisors to ensure all entry requirements are met. The first two years of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering can be completed at TCC. Students can earn an associate degree to transfer to a Washington state public university.

In this program, you’ll complete the requirements of the freshman and sophomore years of most engineering programs at a university, studying calculus, physics, and chemistry. This pre-major program is designed to prepare you to transfer at the junior level into an engineering program at a four-year college or university.

The Associate in Science in Computer Networking Technology prepares students to design, administer, maintain, and troubleshoot networks of different sizes. Students learn a diverse array of skills, including specification preparation, network management, network design, equipment and system sales, and software development.

The Infrastructure Security Associate in Science degree provides best practices and competencies for students to design, install and implement services and applications; manage and optimize security infrastructure to ensure compliance with security controls; help prevent, detect, investigate and respond to operational security threats and attacks; facilitate security vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and risk assessments; investigate security events and incidents, including forensic analysis; represent security interests on project teams by ensuring security standards and requirements; conduct security research, analysis and review of infrastructure designs to ensure compliance with company security policies; evaluate new products and technologies to protect against existing and emerging security threats, and develop and implement information security policies and procedures.

The Business Information Systems Associate of Science program prepares students to work in an office environment as an Office Manager, Supervisor, and Administrative Assistant using a variety of office technology and computer-based Applications (word processing, electronic mail, database, spreadsheets, presentation graphics).

Computer Science has grown dramatically over the last decade, until it now affects each of us in our daily lives. We come into contact with dozens of different computer systems each day. These range from automatic bank tellers and "intelligent" cash registers, to automobile fuel monitoring systems. The Computer Science Department teaches students how to design and implement the computer software that brings intelligence to computer systems. Santa Barbara City College's Computer Science program includes introductory to advanced topics. It is designed to provide general education, transfer and occupational training.

This limited access program is designed to provide graduates of certificate and registered apprenticeship programs additional technical and supervisory skills while enhancing the basic general education skills necessary for placement in entry-level management positions. With Operations Management Technology, A.S. students can advance in their field and elevate their overall performance.

The two-year Associate of Science in information technology helps students navigate the global marketplace and use technology to connect, empower, educate, and protect businesses, schools, government agencies, and various other organizations.

The graduates of the Associate in Science degree in Computer Science are prepared for transfer to four-year institutions to complete bachelor's degrees in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields. The curriculum provides instruction in computer programming on the application and system levels, an understanding of computer hardware organization and architectures, and a working knowledge of microcomputer and microprocessor design.

This degree or certificate is designed for those students interested in computer science, either as a professional concentration or for transfer to a four-year computer science program. Upon completion of this certificate program, students will be able to name the four basic parts of computer organization and have a working knowledge of assembly language. Students will be able to describe recursion, linked lists, queues, and stacks, and algorithm efficiency, as well as, procedural, functional, logic, and object-oriented programing languages.

This is a two years degree program that offers a sequence of required studies in General Education, Core IT courses, and Elective courses.
