The Food Service Management degree program offers four options for students to choose from Resort & Hotel Management; and Culinary Arts; Pastry & Baking Arts. The Food Service Management major and its options were designed to fill a need in the industry. Employment in Foodservice is typically not very sensitive to economic conditions, and rates of employment are expected to remain consistent, according to the US Dept. of Labor. In fact, according to the National Restaurant Association, the restaurant industry employs an estimated 13 million people, or 9% of the U.S. workforce, and is expected to add almost two million jobs over the next decade.

American Sign Language/Interpreter Education Program (ASL/IEP) is a two-year Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree program to train individuals to become ASL conversationalists and or professional ASL interpreters. Successful graduates of this program can seek job opportunities in settings such as educational, medical, legal, mental health, religious, social, and community-based employment. This program provides individuals with the professional knowledge and skills that meet or exceed the minimum professional standards necessary to perform in a broad range of interpreting assignments. This program will prepare individuals for the Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) and Virginia Quality Assurance Screening (VQAS).

The Associate of Applied Science Degree Program in Petroleum Technology is designed to prepare students for employment in the upstream and midstream segments of the oil and gas industry. As the exploration and development of petroleum and shale gas resources expand in the Marcellus, Utica, and other regional geological formations, excellent employment opportunities exist throughout this region and across the country for students who complete this program. The program includes 60 credit hours of study. Of the 60 hours, 18 are general education courses and 42 are specific to the petroleum industry. The curriculum focuses on the knowledge, skills, and attitudes that are required for success in technician-level jobs within the upstream and midstream segments of the petroleum industry.
