The online Associate of Arts in Biblical Studies is for students who want to further their biblical ministry study. This Bible degree program is designed in the liberal arts tradition and can lead to future studies of the Bible and is a gateway to a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies.

Introduces students to the sources and content of the Christian story and message, and provides training which emphasises application and articulation of this story and news in the contemporary world.

Girton has a small but lively group of students in Theology, Religion and Philosophy of Religion. The Director of Studies, Dr Hilary Marlow, is an Old Testament scholar with a wide range of other interests, including environmental ethics, interfaith dialogue and the science and religion debate. Additional assistance is offered by the Chaplain, whose interests lie in theology and literature. In recent years Girton students have been very successful in the Faculty, resulting from the College ethos of a relaxed atmosphere with academic rigour.
