    Networks can be an important part of everything from social organizations to computer systems. Students who pursue studies in network theory generally learn about the principles that underlie these systems as well as relevant real-world applications.

    An associate degree is an undergraduate degree that typically awarded by community colleges, technical colleges and 4-year colleges. If pursued on a full-time basis, an associate degree usually takes two years to obtain.
