Introduction
About
NEXT CLASSES BEGINNING IN AUGUST 2018.
The course program aims to train real editors, not just editing software operators. Ideal for professionals who already work in the audiovisual sector and need to deepen their knowledge and skills, or for students interested in a high-quality training and who are completing a degree in a related area.
Students intensively study the main fundamentals of cinema, such as screenwriting, dramaturgy, cinematographic language, genres, sound and post-production, developing sensitivity and critical thinking through repertoire training and film analysis. In the practical part, students work with raw material from filming, made available by partner production companies, which allows them to have a closer experience of the daily life of editors, in addition to creating a portfolio of real works. As a result, the course trains professionals who think about narratives, capable of creatively contributing to the director in the editing room, reinforcing the editor's profession as a true storyteller.
