The student will have the skills to: master the impact of arc welding parameters with coated electrodes, semi-automatic welding, and thermal cutting; identify the causes and remedies of typical faults encountered in arc welding with coated electrodes, semi-automatic welding, and thermal cutting; read, understand and properly use the drawings, standardization, and symbolic representation of welds; perform safe work, respecting the methodology. The graduate of this program may find employment in a wide variety of industrial sectors, such as pulp and paper mills, mining, oil refineries, steel mills, construction projects, or manufacturing and maintenance industries. metals, engineering structures, and agricultural industries.
