Short-Term Language Program

Learn all the skills critical to language learning: reading, writing, listening, speaking, vocabulary, grammar and culture. Why learn Chinese?

One-on-one instruction and complete immersion within a safe, friendly environment is among the most direct paths to learning Chinese.

Chinese Language and Culture Course

Long-term class (with duration of more than half a year) enrolls new students twice annually, which commence in March and September respectively. The Chinese language study includes four phrases: introduction courses, elementary courses, intermediate courses, and advanced courses.

School of International Education (SIE) offers professional Chinese language teaching, research and HSK training for students from all over the world.

HSK (Han yu Shui ping Kao shi) , Chinese Level On-line Test (Official HSK On-line Test) is a formal test by Han Ban. Designed for different levels of students who want to take the HSK Exam. Formerly, there're 6 levels of the exam, from Elementary-Intermediate -Advanced level, for someone who at least master more than 400 words and 30 grammar rules. HSK test is the equivalent to the TOEFL examination.

In the pre-term placement, per 5-15 Chinese language students will be set in one class according to their actual Chinese level.

The Chinese Studies major offers academically rigorous courses in Chinese language, history, literature, culture, religion, and film studies. Students acquire the general literacy and appreciation of the richness and variety of traditional and modern Chinese Studies in its broadest sense. Chinese Studies majors gain a deep understanding from reading and pondering the issues presented in the carefully selected materials regarding the above areas. Chinese Studies provides students the ability to study in depth about China and Chinese speaking regions and to develop their academic skills and qualifications for careers related to China.

The program is designed to facilitate communication and allow people to participate in society's cultural, economic, and social activities. Currently, BGI Consultancy & Education created the Arabic, Mandarin, and Spanish Syllabi and student learning outcomes to respond to the globalized world's immediate needs.

Summer and winter short-term programs program feature: Offering certificates of completion and transcripts at the end of the program; Optimized curriculum focusing on improving oral Chinese; Cultural experience: Chinese calligraphy, martial arts, paper cutting and Chinese painting, etc.; Language practice: cultural excursions in or around the city in according with the project demand. Customized short-term program for groups program feature: East China University of Technology provides international students group (over 15 people) with short-term customized teaching services all over a year. Lectures, activities and study programs will be designed in accordance with students’ requirements and time. Lectures on Chinese culture and history or other topics both in Chinese and English. Visits to famous enterprises, manufacturing companies, museums, university labs, and tourist locations, etc.
