Operating managers and other executives who are charged with developing their staff--and whose own performance evaluation includes employee development benchmarks--will find this program invaluable. This is not a typical coaching program on how to deal with performance deficits; instead, it shows how to work one-to-one with employees to build on their individual strengths and create a team of high-performance members.
Extraordinary performance can be nurtured, developed, facilitated--in a word, coached. This unique program uses Positive Organizational Scholarship (POS) concepts to offer a fresh approach to becoming an exceptional coach for your people and your organization. Rather than the traditional coaching emphasis on problems and deficiencies, this program focuses on the positive - the abilities, vitality and successes of your employees--and utilizes positive themes such as appreciation, recognition and high-quality relationship building to expand on employees' strengths and help them be the best they can be.
A unique post-program follow-up and support process helps reinforce the learning and successful application of the program concepts. For six weeks following the class, faculty is available for personalized coaching consultation. After six weeks, a one-hour group conference call will be held to share participant experiences and continue building a network of POS-committed coaches. Participants will be teamed-up to facilitate ongoing POS network building and skills development. Team members will draw upon each other for support, ideas, and feedback as they practice their skills back at work.
