INTRODUCTORY CERTIFICATE IN MARKETING

Course Duration: 3 months to 6 months
Entry Requirements:

  • CIM PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE LEVEL.
  • Other qualification(s) approved by CIM.

PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE IN MARKETING

Course Duration: 1 year
Entry Requirements:
Four (4) C’s in KCSE or two (2) A Level Passes, Age 18 with the required CIM equivalents or meet at least one of the following CIM-approved qualifications:

  • CIM PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA OR
  • Hold any general Bachelors or Masters degree OR
  • Have the CIM Introductory Certificate in Marketing (Level 2 or 3) OR
  • Have an NVQ or SVQ Level 3 in Marketing (equivalent to NQF Level 3) OR
  • Have an NVQ or SVQ Level 4 in any other subject (UK - equivalent to NQF Level 4 and above) OR
  • Hold an International Baccalaureate (equivalent to NQF Level 3 and above) OR
  • Business or marketing experience would be an advantage but ISN'T essential.

PROFESSIONAL POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA IN MARKETING

Course Duration: 1 year
Entry Requirements: CIM Professional Diploma or Degree in Marketing from recognized university

Stage 1

  • Emerging Themes
  • Analysis & decision
  • Managing Leadership and Planning
  • Managing Corporate Reputation

Progression: Students may progress to MBA/MSc (Marketing) on completion. The student becomes a chartered marketer in the marketing profession.

Stage 2

  • Leading Marketing

Progression: Students may progress to MBA/MSc (Marketing) on completion. The student becomes a chartered marketer in marketing profession.

NB: CIM has the sole discretion of exemptions from other levels.

CHARTERED PROF

Course Duration: 1 year
Entry Requirements:
To qualify, applicants must meet at least one of the following CIM-approved qualifications:

  • CIM Professional Certificate in Marketing OR
  • Hold any business/marketing Bachelors or Masters Degree from a recognized university OR
  • Experience in a marketing management role OR
  • Any business or marketing Bachelors or Masters degree where a minimum of one-third of the credits come from marketing (i.e. 120 credits in Bachelors or 60 credits in Masters).
