Program Description

When you enroll in the A/C Refrigeration Technician program at CBT College, you could receive the training necessary to begin working in an entry-level position. You do not have to spend years and years training to receive the industry experience that is necessary to begin finding employment; instead, you will spend eight months in this program, which is available in both English and Spanish languages. The hands-on training, and courses that you take while enrolled in an A/C & Refrigeration Technician program on our Flagler or Hialeah campuses will help you learn how to understand, develop, repair, and maintain a variety of equipment. The courses that you take will cover various areas, including:

Once you have successfully completed the A/C & Refrigeration Technician diploma program at our Hialeah or Flagler campuses, you will be able to install, maintain, and repair refrigeration, heating, and air conditioning systems of all types. Once you have finished the A/C & Refrigeration Technician diploma program, you could transfer your credits into the Associate Degree in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration program available at CBT College. You will need to be certified once you have completed this diploma program.


The average salary for an A/C & Refrigeration Technicians was $40,630. Your salary will depend on various factors, including certifications, location, and the level of experience that you have.
